Inauguration of the EuroAI Forum in Warsaw, Poland

During the inaugural meeting of the EuroAI Forum, held on June 19, 2024, in Warsaw, we discussed the key aspects of implementing artificial intelligence in business with special guests: Rafał Ogrodnik, Reid Blackman, Łukasz Wala, and Dariusz Mazurkiewicz.

   The special guests presented examples of successful AI implementations in business, showcasing practical benefits and outcomes. The discussion emphasized the importance of investing in specific and narrow solutions and building awareness and knowledge within the organization as early as possible. A key takeaway was the need to “teach every employee AI tools to increase their productivity.”

2. Ethics and Challenges in AI Implementation

   Reid Blackman discussed key ethical issues and challenges related to AI implementation, sharing his insights online from New York. He addressed AI deployment and control models in light of ethics and the democratization of innovation within organizations. A crucial point was the importance of ethical AI deployment and the democratization of innovation.

3. The AI Development Race: Dominance of Giants or Independence?

   We analyzed the global competition in the field of AI, considering the role of large tech corporations. The discussion highlighted the need for collaboration and exploring the roles of Poland and Europe in the AI race. The key point was emphasizing the fundamental importance of productivity in this context.

4. Concerns and Barriers in AI Implementation

   We identified the main concerns and obstacles hindering AI implementation in business and shared recommendations on how to overcome them. We also assessed the current state of AI in Poland and the challenges ahead. A key insight was understanding where we are in Poland regarding AI and the challenges we face.
